January started off on a high note for the Library, as we welcomed some very special guests on Monday. Author Catherine Owens and Illustrator Jenny Keith read their new book, “Day cat, Night Cat” at our community assembly. They brought the original art used to make the cover, and graciously donated a copy to our library. Students were treated to a meet the Author and Illustrator as well as a Q and A session in the library afterwards.
Hardcover, signed copies are available at the library for 25.00 (cash only) until Monday, January 14th.
Lego club, Makerspace club and Board game club continue to run in the library during lunch recess. Keep checking the website to keep up to date on school events.
Mrs. Chaisson's Grade 5 class are currently displaying their own handmade Non-Fiction books in the library, come check them out!
We will be rolling out our recommended reads section, created by and for students, with prizes to be won very soon.
We are showcasing some of our new books from Indigo (with our Adopt-A-School donations) from 6:30-7:30, wear your PJ's and join us! Everyone welcome!
