Curriculum Handbooks
The Curriculum Handbooks for Parents offer in-depth information about what students are expected to learn at each grade level of the curriculum; the Curriculum Summaries provide concise grade-at-a-glance information; and the Curriculum Express for Parents gives a short explanation of the curriculum for parents who are English language learners. The handbooks, summaries and Curriculum Express will continue to support successful communication with parents.
The handbooks, summaries and Curriculum Express are available in English on the Education website at www.education.alberta.ca/parents/resources/handbook.aspx. French versions will be posted by September 30, 2009. They may be downloaded for viewing and printing as required. The handbooks are also available for purchase from the Learning Resources Centre at 780-427-2767 (toll-free by first dialing 310-0000). An order form is also available on their website.

How Can Parents Help Out?
We have a number of initiatives in our school with which we can use parental or community help. These are:
1. Our Breakfast Program, which runs each school morning, can use a few extra hands. Mrs. DeWilde arrives at the school at 7:45 am, gets food ready, and serves the food to the children from approximately 8:15 - 8:30. Please let us know if you can help out-- even a day or two would be appreciated.
2. We need Room Reps. Reps are asked to be the "go to" person for a classroom. This need not be a big time committment! Two or more parents can be Room Reps per classroom. For more information, please contact the school and we will forward your concerns to our School Council executive members.
Please give us a call at school if you can help with any of these jobs. Thank you.
Ongoing Fundraisers
We support a number of year-long fundraising campaigns which can bring significant funds and resources into our school. Click here to find out more.
